Logic Communications on behalf of its’ affiliate dealers and employees recently presented a corporate sponsored Citizens Award to Lt. Latham of the Webster, Texas Police Department for his role in the recovery of merchandise that was purchased fraudulently with a stolen credit card number.  A suspect was apprehended by Lt. Latham within days of the shipment when it was discovered that the credit card had been stolen.  The suspect had in his possession several thousand dollars of stolen merchandise belonging to a number of various equipment vendors, and was about to ship the merchandise abroad.

"Lt. Latham was instrumental in the recovery of some very expensive digital telecom equipment despite resistance from the local District Attorney's office and we wanted to show our appreciation for his efforts” said Paul Rose, President of Logic Communications.  “We believe that when someone goes above and beyond their normal responsibilities their efforts should be acknowledged.”  This is the second time in three years that a similar award has been presented by Logic Communications.
